You ask “is my kid safe out there?” first. So do we.
Every tour and every ride runs on a plan: who’s leading, how the route is scouted and supported, and how we keep you informed while your rider is on the road.
Ride leader screening & training
Parents trust us with what matters most: their young people. Your child’s safety is our highest priority. That’s why every ride leader is background-checked, trained, and prepared before leading a group. Our team includes League Cycling Instructors (LCIs), certified in bicycle safety education, along with staff trained in first aid, emergency response, and positive youth development. From pre-ride bike checks to established safety protocols on every ride, we work hard to create an environment where young people can build confidence, skills, and independence while staying safe.

Route planning & support vehicles
Every tour route is carefully planned in advance, with daily mileage, rest stops, lodging, and educational destinations mapped before departure. A support vehicle travels with the group carrying gear, water, food, and repair equipment, while experienced leaders monitor rider well-being throughout the journey. We prepare for changing weather, mechanical issues, health concerns, and other unexpected situations so youth can focus on learning, growing, and experiencing the adventure.
Thoughtful planning and strong adult support create an environment where riders can safely challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of.
Staying in touch with parents
Families receive a detailed itinerary before departure and regular updates throughout the tour, including photos, stories, and daily highlights from the road. We want you to feel connected to the experience, confident in your rider’s well-being, and informed about the group’s progress. While routes and schedules may occasionally change due to weather or other conditions, you’ll always know where the group is headed, where they’re staying, and how the journey is unfolding.
Staff-to-youth ratios
Maintaining a 1:5 adult-to-youth ratio, our groups stay small enough for every adult to know every rider by name, build meaningful relationships, and support each young person throughout the journey.
