OUR DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Learning to ask questions is integral to creating productive relationships that benefit everyone. It is an investment in the capacity of students to think more clearly and more deeply, to learn more and feel greater ownership of their own learning.
School history books have revised, re-written, and even deleted entire chapters of American history. Our youth travel the country and find what is missing in school curriculums.
Environmental lessons don't start and stop with pollution control. Knowing that, we educate youth on the importance of preserving and conserving land, water and other natural resources.
